About Marc Divaris
Cosmetic surgeon Paris
I studied reconstructive surgery under the supervision of 3 very exceptional educators: Professor Raymond Vilain, at the Boucicaut Hospital, I was one of his last interns as he died prematurely in 1989, Professor Jean Marie Servant, at the Hospital Saint Louis, and Professor Jean-Yves Petit at the institute Gustave-Roussy in Villejuif. The first, was one of the founders of “SOS Mains”, he specialized in hand surgery, specifically reattachment surgery of severed limbs; the second was a pioneer of microsurgery, and the third was an early contributor to breast reconstructive surgeries. Three exceptional practitioners, with remarkable pedagogy, gave me the knowledge that would be the essential base for my future cosmetic surgery career.
Thanks to the education I received from my apprenticeships at their sides, I have been practicing reconstructive surgery for the past 25 years at the Parisian Hospital Pietié-Salpêtrière, within the maxillofacial surgery division. This unite oversees SOS Face, and the public assistance departments.
